Psychedelic Science Conference Denver, Colorado 2025
Dr. Brandon Weiss presented at the Psychedelic Science Conference in Denver, Colorado, alongside Dr. Grace Blest-Hopley, Dr. Lynette Averill, and Dylan Peters. This panel focused on the role of psychedelic therapies as emerging tools for recovery within the Veteran community. Dr. Weiss shared insights from Veteran-focused clinical trials currently underway at the Johns Hopkins Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research, as well as preliminary findings demonstrating the potential for psilocybin therapy to be rapid-acting, efficacious, safe, and well-tolerated in the treatment of PTSD among military Veterans.
Continuing Education for Clinicians – Tactical Recovery Summit 2025
Dr. Weiss provided continuing education to clinicians at the Summit Behavioral Health Tactical Recovery event, addressing the ethical administration, risks, and potential benefits of psychedelic therapies. About Us
Brandon Weiss, PhD is a clinical psychologist and Assistant Professor at Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine working in The Center for Psychedelic and Consciousness Research. Ten years ago, he began investigating the role of psychedelics in improving mental health and personality, especially for Veterans suffering with posttraumatic stress.
